Default Please help us hammer Warriors out!

I'm a PvE Hammer Warrior and I would love to be able to use this skill, as an adrenaline builder like the Cyclone Axe that Axe Wielders have, but I can't because it's easily interupted. I'd like to see the skill Crude Swing upgraded and become a regular attack that isn't easily interupted.

Currently reads:

Crude Swing - Hammer Attack 5,0,5
Attack all adjacent foes. Each foe you hit is struck for 1-16 more damage. This action is easily interrupted.


Hopefully will soon read:

Crude Swing - Hammer Attack 5,0,5
Attack all adjacent foes. Each foe you hit is struck for 1-16 more damage.

Needs something to make it different from Cyclone Axe. Identical skills are not allowed.
How about,
Huge Swing
Hit all foes in the area for 1-20 additional damage. You are knocked down after finishing this attack.

Yeah, that was the idea. When I said huge, I truly meant hueg.
As for stances, you shouldn't need to use one particular skill in order for another to not be entirely useless.

they should change cyclone axe and crude swing so that cyclone hammer and crude axe exist.

hammer warriors have no shield?! why hurt us even more?

Shame - Hex Spell
For 4-9 seconds, the next time target foe casts a spell on an ally, the spell fails and you steal 5-12 Energy from that foe, and Shame ends.

Mark of Subversion - Hex Spell
For 4-9 seconds, the next time target foe casts a spell on an ally, the spell fails and you steal 10-76 health from that foe.

Those 2 seem very very different.

either way, the hammers have the crap version of cyclone axe, yet another thing that's bad for hammers. fix it >.<!!! PLZ!

Only way to balance this is to reduce the +dmg. Otherwise its only going to be used for adrenaline just like cyclone axe is. For hammer that might be a little too much since 1 of their attack combos will KILL you while you have no say so in the matter.

Hammers can hurt if adrealine is build up quickly. This is why theres no spammable attacks for hammer, plus hammer has a ton of knockdown. If there is a skill to hit multiple targets, talk about alot of knockdown.

try either using a blocking stance as mentioned before or knockdown plus belly smash to blind the nearby enemies then follow with crude, it would also be a good followup to earthshaker provided you dont have ranged opponents targeting you

I love my hammer warrior (and my victo's maul), but i would love him even more if crude swing didn't suck!

Crude swing does suck. I guess they are only good when used after Earth Shaker. (little faq, before the nerf bat hits hammer warrior, in the earlier beta, most Knock Down does not use up all your Adrenaline, and Earth shaker was not a elite)

I want to see something like aftershock....

Yeah hammer needs some help - no one would use crude swing in pvp anyway so I don't see the problem with removing the easily interrupted and the bonus damage clauses from the skill to make it half-usable.

Crude swing sucks because hammers would be overpowered if they had an adrenaline builder like axes.

What if you changed it a little:

Crude Swing - Hammer Attack 5,0,5
Attack all adjacent foes. Each foe you hit is struck for 1-16 more damage. This action is easily interrupted.

To

Crude Swing - Hammer Attack 5,0,5
Attack all adjacent foes. Each foe you hit is struck for 1-16 more damage and has a 10% chance of missing.

That sounds like how a "crude" swing would be like.

or...
Shock Smash - Hammer attack - 15 energy.
attack all adjacent foe for 1-16 more damage. If foe is knock down, do addtional 1-16 damage. This action is easily interupted.

I suggest this:

Crude Swing - Hammer Attack 5,0,4
Attack all adjacent foes. This attack does 25% less damage.
